【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheenergyrequiredtocrackorbreakrigidpoly(vinylchloride)(PVC)profileunderspecifiedconditionsofimpactbymeansofafallingweight.ThistestmethodisabletobeusedbyitselforinconjunctionwithothermethodsofmeasuringPVCproducttoughness.Becauseofthewidevarietyofprofilesizesandshapesandthewidevarietyofmanufacturingproceduresandfieldabuse,thistestmethoddoesnotcorrelateuniversallywithalltypesofabuse.Therefore,correlationsmustbeestablishedasneeded.Thetextofthisstandardreferencesnotesandfootnoteswhichprovideexplanatorymaterial.Thesenotesandfootnotes(excludingthoseintablesandfigures)shallnotbeconsideredasrequirementsofthisstandard.1.5Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Note1-ThereisnoequivalentorsimilarISOstandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
